Gateway Primary School Blue Class

Our class went to visit Pizza Express in Abbey Road On Tuesday 17th October. We have been learning to make pizzas for the last 6 weeks as a part of our D&T project so this trip was a chance to show what expert pizza makers we are!

We walked to Pizza Express (to build up our appetites) and when we arrived we met Alex the manager and his pizza chefs. He showed us where to wash our hands, then gave us our hats and pizza bases.

1. We were given the pizza base and we spread the tomato sauce on it.
2. Then we put some toppings on it. These included mushrooms, peas, olives, peppers and leeks.
3. Then we sprinkled the cheese on the top and we added herbs and pepper.
4. Finally the pizzas were put in the oven for 10 minutes.

When we got back to school we ate some of our delicious pizza for lunch and took the rest home.
